WORKSHOP DETAILS:
Team-building & Creative Problem-solving:
At school and in business, most people are trained to look for ‘one right answer’. If that’s all a team looks for, that’s all they will get. We give teams techniques to look beyond the first answer, to find alternative solutions and meanings. This skill expands possibilities and encourages teams to see challenges as opportunity-rich.
- Part 1 – Teams engage in a collaborative cooking event then share the cooked meal together
- Part 2 – Teams participate in 3 creative problem-solving activities, each followed by a debrief
Each part provides your team an opportunity to practice then reflect upon their shared experiences of generating fresh ideas, challenging assumptions and creating connections between ideas to collaboratively solve problems. Your team also immediately creates value in the community by supporting the Fresh Choice Kitchens charity – 60% of the price goes directly to their educational programs and resource centre.
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm (5 hours)
Location: 1150 Raymur Avenue, Vancouver, Canada
Price: $125 CAD/person
