At Innovation Camp, you’ll discover how answers to these questions are related to learning entrepreneurship and innovation skills.

Workshop Experience: Participants learn by doing – practicing techniques to generate new ideas and expanding upon those ideas in order to accomplish a shared goal such as creating a product or completing a project/challenge. There are no lectures, just engaging activities that facilitate learning, interaction and growth.

Innovation Camp is your opportunity to:

  • connect and collaborate with like-minded people
  • practice entrepreneurship skills such as identifying opportunities, defining success, innovating, seeing problems from a fresh perspective, collaborating and many more
  • have fun
  • be creative (if you feel you aren’t very creative, no problem, you’ll learn!)
  • learn from failure
  • plot world domination
  • practice your communication skills

This workshop will NOT fill your brain with information you could easily read in a book/find on the Internet or teach you how to create a business plan or give you capital to start a business.

The workshop is for people who are excited by creativity, community, entrepreneurship, opportunity, risk, the future and of course, innovation.  People who want to push the envelope, expand their horizons, see new things, do new things and create new things.  These are the people who make dinner parties interesting, make coffee dates worth showing up for and who attend events like Innovation Camp.

By the end of the workshop, students will have:

  • learned techniques to view problems from fresh perspectives in order to identify opportunities
  • applied those techniques in entrepreneurial situations and reflected on what was learned in the process
  • received clear, concise feedback on their ability to work as part of a team
  • analyzed and learned from failures in their own and others lives
  • laughed and had fun!
